When Wally asks him why he helped the meanest girl in school, Beaver tells him that he'll have something nice to look back on whenever she turns mean, which is soon. Beaver gives her a draft copy of his letter and Judy is soon riding the bus again. Judy is suspended, comes to Beaver's house, and asks Beaver how he got himself reinstated. Crawford, the driver, and is allowed to ride the bus again. So, Beaver delivers a fulsome letter of apology, written with Wally's help, to the house of Mr. After riding the school bus for a week, arriving at the bus stop with increasing tardiness in the morning, Beaver is suspended for fighting. Miss Landers tells the class that the school-bus service is being extended. Guests: Rusty Stevens as Larry Mondello, Madge Blake as Mrs. Ward and June are glad they learned they have such nice boys. Wally decides he must tell his father the truth. Later, Ward gives Wally the payment that the sitter would have received. Ward blames shoddy workmanship the boys remain silent. The next day, a portion of the kitchen ceiling falls to the floor. Later, the boys notice water leaking from the kitchen ceiling and mop up, drying the ceiling with a hairdrier, and agreeing not to tell their parents. Beaver forgets the bath, and runs downstairs. Wally tells Beaver to bathe, so Beaver starts to fill the bath and dawdles. When the sitter cancels, Wally is left in charge and he becomes bossy.

Wally sends Beaver to do some reconnaissance work so that he has some idea of what Jill looks like beforehand. He's unable to find a date for Jill Bartlett and is forced to escort her himself. The committee is supposed to find dates for all the girls who want to go to the dance but can't find their own dates.
